New Journey Awaits Us

We leave Abilene on October 16th making our way to Murrieta, CA for a workamping gig. Our trip will include stops in Midland, TX, Tucson and Yuma, AZ to visit friends and family.

We have been working feverishly preparing for the trip. The installation of our Air Force One braking system, new dash for our coach, new 8D start batteries and a whole bunch of other stuff.

We are excited that our final destination will put us very close to our kids and grands in Tustin, Irvine and Santa Barbara. We will probably be there until late May 2016 to await the arrival of our new grandchild, lucky number 13. It will allow us to visit them more often and get/give those hugs that make life special.

Even though we will be leaving friends and family in Abilene, we will remember the words to the song “Happy Trails, until we meet again”. It’s never goodbye!

After the new grand-baby is born, we’ll make our way up to Bend, OR. I have a brother and sister-in-law that live there, which puts us closer to Salem where my Mom lives.

I will try to update the bog during our journey, so follow along as we embark on this new chapter in our lives!

Our New Adventure Begins Very Soon!

We will be traveling in a week or so and thought I would start a blog just for that. My other blogs are dedicated to our bus build and web site design, so this is very fitting.

Currently we are in Georgetown, TX and will be heading to Abilene, TX. We’ll spend a few days there visiting Becky’s Mom and going through our storage unit. After that we intend to head to El Paso then Tucson, AZ to visit my oldest daughter and grandkiddos! Can’t wait to see and hug all of them! We’ll be there for at least 4 or 5 days then off to Tustin, CA to visit our sons, daughters and grandkiddo’s. We are hoping to see a few busnuts along the way.

Our final destination is Vancouver, WA. We will be staying with good friends for several months. That will allow us to make that our home base while we visit my parents in Salem, OR and my brother in Bend. Along with cousins, nephews and friends from days gone by.

Happy Trails to All!

Becky and Paul
