We had some Vistors…………….

Come and visit us this past weekend! We hadn’t seen them since we left Vancouver back in May. The weather was not the best, but we were able to do some beach combing and even saw low tide at 11:17 pm Friday night! That was different!

Here we are out for our Saturday morning walk on the beach.

It was cold, raining and just flat-out miserable, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. We were able to go for a walk a couple of mornings down to Seal Rock and get some coffee and donuts to take back to camp and share with those who didn’t go. We also were able to enjoy a campfire in between rain showers! No smores though! lol We did enjoy a great meal outside with enough food to feed an army!

Doug, Lori and Mo left to go back home Sunday around noon. We hated to see them go, but somebody had to get back to work! Maybe next time the weather will co-operate.

Tom and Karen stayed for a couple of extra days. Tom retired a few months back so they decided to hang around a while longer. Becky and Karen drove up to Lincoln City and paid a visit to the Tanger Outlet Mall on Monday. Tom and I drove up later to meet them for lunch. The drive took us north through Depoe Bay and in to Lincoln City. We didn’t explore the area that much due to the wet weather, but it was fun to surprise them anyway! I forgot to mention that on Sunday night we went to Waldport and enjoyed a great meal at Salty Dawg, right on the Alsea Bay.

We wished the weather could have been better, but it’s always good when friends stop by!
