……yesterday around 2:00 pm.
We left El Paso just before 9 am yesterday after saying our goodbyes to Julio and Julieta, which was not easy! Fueled up at Exit O on I-10 and headed down the slab toward Arizona.
My daughter Christina along with two of our grand daughters, Lily and Trinity were standing at the street corner waiting for us. I gave our horn a toot as they were looking for us coming from a different direction. They jumped and waved with joy!
They had just moved into their house after moving from Washington state. We thought we could just plug into one of the 120 volt circuits and get by. Wrong! I checked all of the available plugs and found most were not wired properly, very old home before proper wiring codes. We tried to get by for the evening by using our generator and planned to move to an RV Park this morning. After dinner I was feeling pretty worn out from the trip so we decided to go ahead and make the short journey to Whispering Palms RV Park.
The temperature today is supposed to be a record for this time of year, 99°! I thought we left the heat in Texas! Good grief!
Trinity sitting proud in Grandpa’s seat!
We plan to go back over to their house this morning and spend the day kissing and hugging our Tucson Family!
Dreamscape and Dusty resting!
